GWENT Police are appealing for information to locate 30 year old Lee Frost who has absconded from Prescoed Prison, Usk and was last sighted on Monmouth Road in Abergavenny on Wednesday May 9 at around 10am.

Lee Frost was last seen wearing green trousers and a navy sweatshirt although he had other clothing with him.

He was convicted for actual bodily harm, grievous bodily harm and criminal damage in November 2016 at Swansea Crown Court.

Lee Frost is not a registered sex offender but it’s believed there may be a potential risk due to the fact that the individual is no longer in the custody of the prison service.

Lee Frost has connections in the Carmarthen and Swansea areas and Gwent Police has activated its operational plan with the aim of locating him, and the prison is co-operating fully with us.
