Police have urged drivers to avoid the road between Llanover and Pontypools as long tailbacks have built up due to a broken down vehicle

A police spokesman said, "Avoid the A4042 from the Baffle Haus, Goytre going towards Pontypool due to a broken down vehicle.

"Please avoid the area if possible and find alternative routes for your journey."
