Gwent Police have confirmed a car fire in Merthyr Road, Llanfoist.

Officers were called to the scene at around 9.50am on Thursday, December 19, along with firefighters from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, to support with traffic management.

There were no further updates on the cause of the fire.
