GWENT Police have issued an advisory for motorists to avoid Merthyr Road in Abergavenny due to an ongoing road traffic collision.

Officers took to social media at 11.45am on January, 9 to advise drivers to seek alternative routes for their journeys to minimise congestion and facilitate emergency response efforts.
