Almost 100 homes in the Mardy area of Abergavenny have been affected by a power cut which hit at just before 1.3pm today.

National Grid says that 97 households are affected, attributing the cause of the power cut to ‘third party damage’.

It is hoped that power will be restored by 4.30pm today.
