THERE’S a new spring in the step of Abergavenny Walking for Health Group thanks to a grant of £1,000 from Monmouthshire Housing Association.

The financial boost will help the popular group continue to offer weekly walks to all-comers free of charge.

Emma Assender from the Housing Association presented a cheque to Jean Armstrong, Chairperson of the group before joining forty walkers for an hour’s healthy leg-stretching in the sunshine around Castle Meadows and Linda Vista Gardens
