A FIFTY-three-year-old man has appeared at Newport Magistrates’ Court charged with the murder of Georgina Symonds.

Peter David Morgan, of Llanellen Court Farm, Llanellen near Abergavenny, spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth.

Morgan is charged with the murder of Georgina Symonds on January 12.

He will appear at Newport Crown Court on January 18 and was remanded in custody.
