Police made an arrest in Abergavenny following reports of drink driving. 

According to social media, a member of the public observed a vehicle swerving and hitting a kerb in the Abergavenny area early Sunday morning (July, 16).

Two officers who were in the area were able to respond and stop the vehicle. 

A 31-year-old male from the Cwmbran area was subsequently charged for drink driving.

The incident follows a long line of incidents involving antisocial driving in the area over recent months.
