‘For One Night Only’ a mini-festival of new drama, will take to the stage of The Melville Centre, Pen-y-Pound, Abergavenny on the evening of Friday September 9 (curtain up 7.30pm).
The mini-festival will feature previously unseen plays from the pens of four local authors and has been described as ‘like a box of chocolates – some hard centres, some soft, some chewy and one or two bitter-sweet’.
The four playwrights whose work is featured are Susan Ffrench, Trudie May Jones, Nastasya Parker and David Pollard.
The mini-festival will also showcase the talents of local actors and directors and offers a chance to support and get to know some of our home-grown talent.
As a special feature the show will also include an appearance by the well-known Abergavenny-based choral group Cor Elen.
‘For One Night Only’ is presented by 3CountiesAmDramTV and further details of the plays on offer as well as a video featuring the authors can be seen at their website: 3countiesamdramtv.uk.
