Over the weekend of 18/19th April, 2020 Gwent Police became aware of people offering puppies for sale via Facebook. The sellers showed pictures of puppies online stating that because of the Corona Virus they cannot be seen in person but will be couriered to the buyer once online payment has been made – these have been fraudulent scams with no dogs have been supplied and with payment arrangements sending monies beyond the UK.
