A prominent historian is holding a Welsh language talk in Abergavenny this month.

Dr. Elin Jones will present ‘The Story of the Welsh Language’ at 7pm at Melville Theatre on October 13.

The distinguished broadcaster will discuss the future of the language, and delve into its fractious history.

Plaid Cymru, the Welsh nationalist party, will sponsor the free admission event, with refreshments available.
