Gwent Police have confirmed via social media the A465, between Abergavenny and Gilwern has been closed.

At around 22:30 on May, 15 Gwent Police stated that the road had been closed due to reports of bales of hay being found in the road.

Officers are currently on the scene, working with partners to ensure the road is cleared as quickly as possible.

Police have requested drivers avoid the area and to if possible, find alternative routes for your journey.
