THE ever-expanding Raglan Junior football club has started the 2019-20 season with three new kit sponsors in a two year deal.

Their U8s and U10s mixed teams and the U11 all-girls team have received brand new match kit from local business who are keen to give back to the community.

HR Services Manager Sharon Davies from Newport’s THS HR services, sponsors of the U8s mixed team said, “We are delighted to support such a thriving club and proud to help the future of children’s football in Raglan.”

Cwmbran’s Solutions in Technology are entering their second period of sponsorship for the club with the U10’s team new kit. Group Technical Director, Simon Lacey said, “We are over the moon to have the opportunity to sponsor again. Being part of the community is very important to our business and it is great to see so many parents and children outside together on a Sunday morning.”

The U11 girls team have also secured the support of one of Wales leading PR firms, Cowshed, based in Cardiff.

Cowshed’s Managing Director Vicki Spencer-Francis said, “Running my own business comes with highs and lows. Being in a position to sponsor our local team, is most definitely one of the highs.

At Cowshed our mission is to only work with clients we love and causes we believe in. Enabling this fierce team to play sport each week is most certainly a cause we believe in.”

Raglan JFC chairman Owen Batty added, “Raglan Junior Football club is flourishing, made possible by the wonderful support of kind sponsors like these, and strong parent and community support. It’s fantastic to see the children running out every Sunday in their great new kits. The club thrives thanks to local businesses such as these, and others, such as NISA Village Store in Raglan, which help us to generate further revenue and ensure the club is sustainable for the future of local children. We can’t thank them enough.”
