Abergavenny Road Club has secured £1.295 of funding from Sport Wales for coach education and club development.

Club Volunteer Coordinator, Steve Lane said, “Cycling is such a popular sport and we are committed to encouraging as many people as possible to participate”

“This funding will be invested on our volunteers to ensure that our award winning club can continue to offer free cycling sessions to develop cyclists of all ages and abilities.”

Sport Wales Chair, Laura McAllister, said, “Projects like this that are making a big difference towards building a healthier Wales. We want to help create thriving, sustainable sporting communities and a Wales which boasts a range of opportunities to take part in sport.”
