A body of a man was discovered near Monmouth on Thursday 13 April at around 10.20am.

According to Gwent Police, formal identification has yet to take place, but that the family of Stewart McGinn have been notified.

Stewart McGinn, 30, of Monmouth was last seen at around 1pm on Monday April, 11. There was an online appeal for his whereabouts as officers were concerned for his welfare.

Gwent Police further added that the death is not currently being treated as suspicious; a report has been prepared for the coroner.
