Report of a sexual assault on Torfaen bus have prompted a witness appeal
Gwent Police are appealing for help following an alleged sexual assault on a bus travelling between Trevethin and Pontypool on Wednesday, February 21.
Officers would particularly like to speak to three teenage girls, believed to be college students, who were on the bus between 7.45am and 8am.
“We want to stress these girls are not believed to be suspects but they may hold information which could assist our enquiries,” said a police spokesman
A man is his 60s, from the Pontypool area, was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault. He has been released on bail as the police investigation continues.
