PICTURED are the Abergavenny Cricket Club Under 15 team who beat Llanarth CC in the recent final of the Gwent Cricket Plate competition.
Aber batted first and scored 111-1 from 15 overs. Tom Pipe had to retire after scoring 50, Tom Norton was run out for 16 in the last over, with Alex Holmes unbeaten on 36.
In reply Llanarth never got going and only scored 75-6. Will Heath was top scorer with 19 runs.
There was wickets for Eoin Shackleton, Jonty Heffaran, Dan Du Plessis and Charlie Gedge.
Shackleton chipped in with a run out as did Archie Eccles to see Abergavenny win the final by 36 runs.
