AN Abergavenny teenager has competed at The Independent Schools Golf Association (ISGA) national plate in Northampton.

Eoin Shackleton, 15, was part of Monmouth School for Boys’ team which finished fifth overall in the national finals at Collingtree Park Golf Club.

The Abergavenny sportsman was joined in the team by 13-year-old Oliver Christopher from Raglan, and Jack Barry, who was also third in the individual section.
